臺東縣長饒慶鈴於3月4日公布「2022臺灣國際熱氣球嘉年華」，將於7月2日至8月15正式登場，天數較去年更長，共計45天，接連而來的好消息讓民眾大呼期待。

Taitung County Magistrate April Yao announced on March 4th that the 2022 Taiwan International Balloon Festival will take place between July 2 to August 15 this year. The duration of the festival has been extended this year to a total of 45 days. This great news has been highly anticipated and received joyfully by the public.

縣長饒慶鈴表示，國內疫情目前已趨緩並且穩定控制，中央流行疫情指揮中心自宣布3月1日起適度放寬防疫措施後，「2022臺灣國際熱氣球嘉年華」何時舉辦的詢問熱度明顯增加，許多民眾及業者都相當期待，熱氣球嘉年華作為後疫情時代首推的夏季大型空域盛會，歡迎全國旅客在暑假來到臺東追球。

Magistrate Yao stated that the COVID situation has been relatively under control in Taiwan. The CECC announced that COVID restrictions would be relaxed beginning March 1st. Since then, calls inquiring when the 2022 Balloon Festival would take place have been pouring in. Vendors and festival-goers look forward to the Balloon Festival which would be the first post-COVID large-scale summer spectacle.
